Customise Blog with Blogger Templates!


Blogger.com is a medium for users to create and publish Blog websites freely. It has many outstanding features but it lacks in some places. When we compare to the WordPress the customization and theming is a big problem in Blogger.com

In this article, I tell you the magic that every blogger users can customize their blog using third-party blogger themes. This is an easy process. Let's Do

Getting Third Party Themes from the Internet.

First of all, we want to get themes online. There are many websites here to download this types of themes and templates. If you not satisfied with the free themes you can buy premium templates from websites.

Download the theme to your local hard disk. The theme file must be in .zip format. so you need WinRAR to unpack this types of files.

After Downloading open it using Winrar. Then Extract the file using WinRAR. Open the extracted folder and find a file with .xml extension. This is your Theme File

Open it with an HTML editor (Notepad, Wordpad, Etc...)

Getting Your Blogger Ready.


After the downloading, you need to open Blogger.com in a Web Browser. Then Sign-In using your Google Account.

In your Blogger dashboard select THEME option from the left side panel.

Them click on Edit HTML Button.

Now there a page opens with HTML Code.

Select all in that box and delete.

Now back to the .xml file that we opened before.

Select all and copy it.

Paste the code in the area before we delete the code.

Then click on Save Changes Button.

Then click View Blog Option to view your updated Blog.

Changing Logo And Favicon.


Every theme file comes with default logo and favicon. We want to change it to make the Blog looks better. Let's have a look at how to change it.

Click on LAYOUT option from the left pane in the blogger dashboard.

There you can see many elements. These elements make the theme.

You can see FAVICON option on top of that.

Click Edit option on the left bottom.

Then Click Choose File button and upload your favicon image.

Then Click Save.

To Change Logo Image,

Find the Element with Your Blog Name

Click the Edit button on left button

Then Click Remove image option to remove the default logo.

After Removing it, Click on Choose File Option.

Select the logo file from the local hard drive.

Then Click Save Button.

You're Done.
